How this site was made.

Three typefaces, drawings made in code, and no framework. These are the references.

Type

Newsreader (opens in a new tab)
Headlines and reading text, by Production Type.
Instrument Sans (opens in a new tab)
Interface and body text, by Rodrigo Fuenzalida and Jordan Egstad.
Geist Mono (opens in a new tab)
Labels, prices and numbers, by Vercel.

All three are free to use under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 (opens in a new tab). They are served from this site, so reading it sends nothing to a font service.

Pictures

Every illustration, project poster and stamp is drawn in code as SVG, and the paper grain is generated too. There are no photographs and no stock images.

Code

Plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with no framework and no tracking. The build uses esbuild (opens in a new tab) and Lightning CSS (opens in a new tab). Pages change in place with a small router, and scrolling is left entirely to the browser. It was tested with Playwright (opens in a new tab) and axe-core (opens in a new tab).

People

Designed and built by Studio Rajbanshi (opens in a new tab), with an AI assistant writing much of the code and the words under the studio's direction. Every client, person, award, address and number on this site is made up.
